There are many different ways to donate money to The Salvation Army. Dropping money in the red kettle at Christmas is only one of them. Here are some other ways, however, that you can donate year round.
If you would like to give using a credit or debit card, please follow this link to donate now.
Note: The monetary donations made online are directed to the unit within the zip code where the donation is made. If it is specified that the donation should go to something specific, the donation will go to the designation. The breakdown of how the donations are used throughout your community can be obtained at your local Salvation Army.

Donate Securities, Stocks, Bonds
It is easy to make a gift of securities to The Salvation Army by working with your broker. Please call us at 410-783-2920, ext. 1296 and ask for Eric Mueck to begin the trouble-free process.
If you hold securities in certificate form, please call us for instructions on how to handle your gift. This, too, can readily be completed.
Some of the benefits to you when making a gift of securities may include:
- Avoiding capital gains tax
- Receive possible increased income
- Receive a charitable income tax deduction
- Change the lives of people through supporting our mission!
A planned gift is arranged by you legally during your lifetime. The principal benefits accrue to The Salvation Army at a later time, after your death or the death of your last named beneficiary. Planned gifts take many forms; providing additional income for you and/or your heirs, reducing income and estate taxes, relieving you and your heirs of complicated financial management responsibilities and helping to fulfill your personal, humanitarian and charitable objectives. Planned gifts can be made in cash, real estate, stocks, bonds, personal property or life insurance. More on planned giving.
